Ratchet's garage was a home created by Ratchet on Kyzil Plateau, Veldin. It contained several bolt crates, posters, tools and two sofas [?]. No other family lived in Ratchet's garage, besides his companion Clank.

When Ratchet explained to his unknown watchover that he wanted to explore the galaxy, he was banned from using any type of vehicle, as the watchover was unsure that Tachyon and his army and the Lombax bombardment was over. [See: Lombax History ]. Ratchet (being 15 at the time), grew angry and upset with his watchover, and ran away from his current city on Veldin to Kyzil Plateau, where he built his own garage and a new space ship where he would eventually fly off of the planet and be an intergalactic hero.

Ratchet & Clank

Main article: Ratchet & Clank

In Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet's garage was the first place seen in the original game. While there, Ratchet was seen building his newest spacecraft on the garage grounds. It was also where he brought back Clank after finding the latter at a crash site on the Plateau. In the last level of the game, Ratchet and Clank returned to Veldin and the garage was seen again, although without the Captain Qwark poster that had once been hung there. Finally, it was at the garage that the duo watched Qwark's Personal Hygenator advertisement.

Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando [Cameo only]

Ratchet's garage was only seen at the beginning of Going Commando, and could possibly not even be noticed. When Ratchet and Clank were doing an interview with Behind the Hero, they were zapped by Abercrombie Fizzwidget, summoning them to rescue the stolen protopet. [Cameo only]

Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal [Ruins]

Ratchet's garage was seen on the Kyzil Plateau, but in ruins from the Tyhrranoid attack. It is unknown of what ever happened to Ratchet's garage after that, however it was seen in the comic series years later.
